Pho Hien was equivalent of Thang Long capital " first is Kinh Ky, second is Pho Hien", where is trading place of more than 10 countries in the world: England, France, Japan, Portugal, Netherlands, China... with the scene trading on the boat. Along with commercial activities, foreigners brought Pho Hien customary customs, architecture with cultural identity of each country, each ethnic group. This makes Pho Hien is a convergence of culture, forming unique culture of land and people here. Pho Hien today is preserved almost historical monuments with unique architecture, beliefs, customs of a busy commercial port in the past.
