Nguyen Sinh Sac- Nguyen Tat Thanh, work of historical-cultural significance of Binh Dinh Province

 

On the journey to save the country in the early twentieth century, the young Nguyen Tat Thanh had lived and studied in Binh Dinh from about mid-May 1909 to about August 1910. In his time, Nguyen Tat Thanh was sent to a friend- teacher Pham Ngoc Tho (teacher of French - Vietnamese School Quy Nhon) by his father -Nguyen Sinh Sac - leader of Binh Khe district (now is Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province). Here, he has the condition to learn French. At leisure, he came to Binh Khe to visit his father and was led by his father to visit the Tay Son relics - home of three brothers Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, Nguyen Lu. Contact with the local people, Nguyen Tat Thanh was told about patriotic examples, persistently leading the fight against the middle tax like Dr. Ho Si Tao, Nguyen Ham ... people were arrested by the French at Con Dao prison.

During the days living near his father in Binh Dinh, Nguyen Tat Thanh was also witnessed, learning from his own father in daily work. According to the people, Nguyen Sinh Sac was a virtuous, patriotic and love poor people; Living very simple close to the people. He is a famous leader of district integrity integrity, strict punishment of the evil.
In January 1910, Nguyen Sinh Sac was summoned to bear the punishment. Nguyen Sac Thanh told Nguyen Tat Thanh "... Save the country, do not go looking for me." Nguyen Tat Thanh has witnessed all badness, corruption of the feudal and colonial regime, which urged him to be strong, quick to find a way to save the country and liberate the nation. In August 1910, Nguyen Tat Thanh left Quy Nhon to Phan Thiet to continue his journey to find a way to save his country.
 
Although the time to live and study in Binh Dinh is not long, but he is very impressed about the land and Tay Son Binh Dinh people. Later, in many of his writings, President Ho Chi Minh referred to the example of Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue's national hero and his army. Forty-five years after his father's separation in Binh Dinh, in 1955, when meeting with the delegation of Binh Dinh province in Hanoi, a native of Binh Khe district, President Ho Chi Minh asked: Are you near the Con River?Is Con river water still clear? Water after each rainy season is still left on the banks of rivers? Clearly, the heroic tradition of Tay Son, the image of the Con River and the warm sentiments of  Binh Dinh people have never been fade in him.
 
Looking back on the life and study of Nguyen Tat Thanh in Binh Dinh is not long but meaningful. That said, Binh Dinh is the first stop on Nguyen Tat Thanh's journey to save the country. Living on the land of Tay Son army, his enthusiasm was strengthened, warmed by the courageous spirit of Quang Trung-Nguyen Hue, the indomitable spirit of struggle, in the hard working of Binh Dinh people ... all urged, mobilizing Nguyen Tat Thanh continue to raise the big willing, decided to continue on the journey of saving country.
 
To commemorate and pay tribute to the great merit of Uncle Ho and his father, according to the earnest aspirations of the Binh Dinh Party Committee and people, Binh Dinh Province reported and agreed with the Board Secretary of the Central Communist Party of Vietnam allowed the construction of the monument complex Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh, along with relief, which were located at the central square of the province.
 
Monument Nguyen Sinh Thanh - Nguyen Tat Thanh height of 10.8 m in bronze, height 4,2m statue placed in the space of the statue. About the layout, Nguyen Sinh Nguyen is right in the north, Nguyen Tat Thanh is in the south but overlooking to the East Sea; left hand of Nguyen Sinh Sinh is forward, with the other hand slightly behind Nguyen Tat Thanh's back. Nguyen Tat Thanh wears a long-sleeved shirt, a topcoat in casual pants, a foot in shoes, a confident, steady figure, leaning forward, listening attentively to his father. The face of Nguyen Tat Thanh statue shows intelligence, solidity, agility, high brow and bright eyes.
 
Behind the statue is a stone relief with a 76m long (center position relief 14.5m high) with the theme: Nam Dan homeland where Nguyen Tat Thanh was born and raised; Nguyen Tat Thanh lived and studied in Hue; The time of Nguyen Sinh Sac and Nguyen Tat Thanh were in Binh Dinh; Cultural images of historical relics, schools in the South Central region where Nguyen Tat Thanh had passed, or  teach for a while; Saigon images of the years were colonized by French colonialists. Among them, the central relief plaque was dedicated to depicting the events of Nguyen Tat Thanh's father and son meeting in Binh Khe district, Nguyen Tat Thanh studied French at Pham Ngoc Tho's house; At the same time, expressing the characteristics of Binh Dinh homeland about the landscape, people, culture and history, which contributed to the will of young man Nguyen Tat Thanh to fulfill his great aspirations in the cause of finding a way to save the country.
 
Nguyen Sinh Thanh - Nguyen Tat Thanh monument is a historical - cultural works of political and humanitarian significance; Expressing the attchment between flesh and blood between family, fatherly love and love of country . It is a statue of the deep gratitude of the next generation with the selfless sacrifice of the preceding class, the statue of the great expectation, the earnest desire of the previous generation with the posterior generation, Vietnam is a prosperous people, strong, democratic, civilized country; Compared to other countries in the world.
