Meeting on World Tourism Day- September 27th 2017

In the afternoon of 27/9/2017, in Quy Nhon City, Tourism Department coornidated with Binh Dinh Tourism Association held the meeting on World Tourism Day with the topic “Sustainable tourism: the way to develop”. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung- Director of Tourism Department had speech to welcome World Tourism Day and reported acivities of Binh Dinh tourism the first 9 months in 2017; orientation, duty of the last 3 months.

Rewarding for groups, individual with good achievements in Summer Tourism Festival 2017

In the first 9 months of 2017, Tourism sector attracted 3,114 millions tourists, 87, 7 % of plan in 2017, increasing 17% to the same period in 2016. The total revenue to the last September 2017 estimate 1.705 billions, 90,6% of plan in 2017, increasing 41% to the same period in 2016. About facility: there are 153 hotels with more than 3.972 rooms in province. Besides that, there are 12 tourists areas which are effective exploition, 30 tourism businesses, 6 standardized restaurants to serve tourists, 12 centres shopping. This solves more than 5.230 employees.

On this occasion, Tourism Department announced Excutive Committee of Binh Dinh Tourism Association 2017-2020; rewarding Certificate of Merit for contestants with the highest prize in the contest “Binh Dinh talent tourism guide 1st – 2017” and groups, individual with good achievements in Summer Tourism Festival 2017.
